1)
1st Class Master Degree in Biotechnology with

Neuroscience with Ph.D degree in Molecular Biology with specializations in
functional or comparative genomics from a reputed and recognised
institution.
2) CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR
test qualified.
3) Expertise
in field of molecular biology is essential. Candidates is expected to have
good knowledge about functional anatomy and physiology of human brain, gene
profiling, regulation and expression in normal and cancerous brain, role of
transcription factors, protein purification and characterization methods,
EMSA and FISH besides routine molecular biology techniques. Previous
competence in molecular neuroscience, cell signalling, microarray,
molecular immunology etc. would be an added asset.
