Health Sciences of the country. Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences,
Rohtak has proven itself in leading position in Medical Education and Research
activities in the State of Haryana and the country as well. The University is

imparting education in medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy and para-
medical sciences across the State of Haryana.

Medical education has witnessed a substantial change in its approach and has also
seen a remarkable growth in recent times. This sector has readily adapted itself not
only to indigenous demands but also to the global demands, and every institution
imparting education in medical and allied health sciences has gird its loins to meet
the worldwide challenges by introducing the latest technologies in medical
education and health sector.

Medical education has moved towards experiential based studies integrated with
research and technology. It has opened up several options for research on one side
and has also created multiple challenges on the other side.

Although the huge population of India is a great challenge for health care

I firmly believe that Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak has
been making progress by leaps and bounds since its inception in 2008 under various
renowned professionals appointed by the Hon'ble Chancellor and the State
Government from time to time.

I am confident that under the leadership of the Hon'ble Chancellor, the Hon'ble
Chief Minister of Haryana, and the Hon'ble Minister for Health and Medical
Education of Haryana, the University is on the right path toward continued success.
The University also benefits from the unwavering support and guidance of the
esteemed ACSMER and DGMER at every level.

Most importantly, our University will remain instrumental in contributing to the
growth and advancement of both our state and our nation.
